A Landscape Called Delight

Is it possible to experience delight in our current world? Perhaps, rather than struggle with the paradox, we learn to accept the reality that dissonance and ache simply will accompany the pleasure of beauty and love. Goodness is everywhere we look. This delight can, in fact must, coexist with the equally strong presence of outrage at injustices and grief over losses and failures. They brood and converse together. One sustains us, the other propels.  

This beautiful landscape is of the Crowsnest Pass in southwestern Alberta with its iconic Crowsnest Mountain overlooking the fields and aspen groves where dark and light interact throughout the seasons.
